Well, I'm taking a break from my otherwise mad dash through the week (I'm going to the C's on Wednesday, and I haven't caught up from Chicago yet . . . ) to show you what it looks like here today. (Sorry the picture is so blurry):





There's a cardinal there; look just above the window frame. (There, in the midst of all that unrelenting gray and brown . . . )

I'm very excited about the birds here. We get a lot, and a lot of different kinds. All year they've been drinking at the sump pump drainage area - which next year will be a pond. I'm hoping we get herons! :)
