	 Hm.  Apparently my compatriots back in the Land o' the Mitten are laboring under another dump of snow . . . According to Wunderground, there's between 8 and 10 inches of snow on the ground, breaking the daily record for Lansing.
 
	But as for me . . . Well, despite the snow I left behind and the tornadoes that ripped across my path just in front of me, I had an uneventful trip. (Mercifully, I was not trying to go through Chicago, where the only transportation in or out was by dogsled, I'm gathering.) Here's what I saw in the parking lot when I arrived at my hotel at dusk last night:  
And now, the morning sun is shining like a red rubber ball, as it were, and I am about to go break my fast with Keith. Then it's off to the races. My presentation is done (yes! In the nick of time!) and I am anticipating a fun day chattering on about my favorite topics. And then, whee! The trip becomes a two-day exploration into Cajun Country. Gosh, I feel lucky!
