I had TWO really bizarre dreams last night. I won't get into too much detail, because usually descriptions of dreams get a bit tedious.

Both of my dreams last night were dreams centered in the "Friday the 13th" Universe. I rarely have two subsequent dreams of the exact same theme, but there I was right in the middle of Camp Crystal Lake.


Nightmares sometimes mean something important, but most of the time, nightmares are just fears magnified. This was the latter. I'd be around a campfire or a house at night, and the constant fear of Jason kept haunting me. Every so often, I'd see Jason. I'd see him, then take off running to safety. Just when I met back up with my friends, I'd see Jason again. It was really bizarre and intensely vivid. It was kind of cool seeing a movie icon in person, even if that movie icon was trying to drive his machette through my skull.

It's rare for me to dream the same dream twice in the same night, back to back. But not long after waking up from one dream, I fell back asleep and had the exact same dream.

I remember waking up the second dream and wondering why I just had TWO dreams that I was getting chased by Jason Voorhees. I remember hearing one time that a dream of getting chased usually implies a sense of being trapped. I couldn't imagine what that trapping object or subject was, so I fell back asleep.

This time to dreams of....

damn...

I don't remember.
