Leave it to Taiwan to expose the hypocrisy of the Bush administration. It appears that Taiwan wants their own, sovereign country. The Bush Administration uses the words freedom more than any other administration in recent memory. "Free Iraq." "Iraqi freedom." "The people of Iraq are free to make their own decisions." They say that freedom should be spread across the globe and that blood would have to be shed to ensure that sometimes.

But what happens when Taiwan starts saying that they want their own free country. "Oh no, we can't have any of that. It'd mess up our China mojo."

I guess "Freedom" only applies to small third world countries that have some of that black gold beneath their soil.
