Listen up you Conservative Democrats and Liberal Republicans, "JUST CHANGE YOUR PARTY AND BE DONE WITH IT." :-)

I wish that these liberal conservatives and conservative democrats would just wise up and call themselves what they really are. If it smells like it, looks like it, and has flies flying around it, it IS what it is.

I just saw Zell Miller on the Daily Show. He's one of these "old south Democrats" who is probably Democrat only because at one time, the entire racist South was Democrat. Now I don't know about Zell Miller's stances on race issues, but it's just historical knowledge that at one time, the power structure of the South was proudly racist. Then comes LBJ and his Civil Rights legislation, which flips the parties up on their head. The party of Lincoln's north, becomes the party of the Jesse Helms' south.

Just calling them like I see em.

I think that it throws off the perceptions of the country when you have someone who says they're one thing, and votes another way. Just switch...for the good of the country. ;-)
