Saw not one, but two movies this weekend. One was excellent (Kill Bill: Vol. 2) while the other was very blah (Hellboy). It's mid-April, and I've already seen half the number of movies I saw last year. Let's hear it for geekdom!

Movies I'm looking forward to:

Spiderman 2: The preview makes the movie seem as if it's going to be a lot better than the first movie, which I thought was pretty darn good.

Troy: What's not to like about Homer being made non-borning? Plus there's all kindsa good lookin people cutting each other up in the movie.

Man On Fire: I think Denzel Washington is one of those actors who can either be completely bad ass, or completely lame ass. From everything that I've heard, it sounds like Denzel gives a good performance. I am also a fan of the "revenge genre" so the movie will probably deliver in that area as well.

I shaved my face in the shower today. Wasn't a good idea. I got a close shave, but now my face burns like crazy. Oh well. Now you know the secret as to why I sometimes have a beard. It's because I hate shaving.

The NBA playoffs started on Friday. Although I'm not expecting my Rockets to go very far, it's good to have them back in the playoffs in the first place. Certainly brings back some good memories to 1994 when the Rockets won their first championship. Those were good times to be a sports fan.

I remember one time, I skipped a shift at work to watch a game seven against the Phoenix Suns. It was one helluva game where the Rockets won on a last second three pointer. It was really stupid of me to just not show up at work, but 10 years later, I'm glad I have the memory of the game in my head instead of the memory of the Golden Corral.

At three Boca burgers for lunch today. I'm thoroughly convinced that the only way to eat a Boca burger is drenched in Ketchup and Tabasco sauce. MMMM, HMMMM!

I'm completely psyched about the upcoming trip to Washington D.C. I think it's going to be a great experience. I'll write more later on that...

My hair has just about driven my CRAZY! I'm about a day or so from the good ol summer chop chop. It's so much easier to deal with short hair in the summer time.
