National Conventions to political junkies are like
-the Oscars to movie fans.
-the Super Bowl to sports fans.
-Woodstock to hippies.
-Kindergarten to Michael Jackson.
Okay, so that's a low blow. But I'm kinda looking forward to watching the week's events. I REALLY wish I could be in Boston this week. I'd absolutely love to be there and see events as they go down. But of course, I'd love to just see Boston as a city anyway.
I'm kinda jazzed about this year's election. I've been more politically active this year than in any other year. And it's not even the fall yet. I have personally registered about 50 people to vote. The group I'm in has registered about 500+ people to vote. It feels GREAT to be politically active and doing my best to make a difference. At least if things don't go my way on Nov. 2nd, I have the right to complain. And complain I will. ;-)
