Meesa back!

Just got back from a week long furlough in Houston and San Antonio. It was quite a trip.

Maybe I'll post an in-depth recap if I get a free moment today.

-long drive on i-45.

-spent saturday in galveston
marveled out the duality of a beautiful beach 10 miles away from hundreds of pollutant making refineries.

-ate my weight in fried seafood.

-watched olympics.

-spent sunday with the isbells. enjoyed playing video games, riding scooters, and learning about 'yugi'oh' with the nephews. caught up with holly and jerry.

-went down to houston to have lunch with luke. was good catching up with luke and working on bridge repair. spent rest of the day up in woodlands with karen.

-travelled to san antonio via a trip to 'ikea.' had the idea that ikea will feel the wrath of my pen as i plan on writing a detailed account as to why i don't like ikea all that much.

-celebrated anya's birthday with her family. ate more fried seafood.

-ran errands with anya and her dad.

-saw 'garden state.' liked it okay, wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

-went to schlitterbahn and had a fantastic time. that places rules in every conceivable way.

-spent sunday at a friend's house while she celebrated her graduation. good times were had by all.

and here i am at work with a huge stack of folders ready to overpower me at any second. :-(
