The former Lt. Governor of Texas, Ben Barnes, has come forward saying that he helped W. Bush get out of Vietnam service by helping him get into the Texas Air National Guard. He says that getting rich kids out of Vietnam became a pretty common occurrence during his tenure. He says that he feels ashamed for doing so now, and wishes he could go back and correct the errors of his past, especially now that it's come forward that these swiftboat anti-Kerry attacks have been financed and produced by numerous people who have substantial ties to the Bush Dynasty.

Meanwhile Bush and his cronies continue to attack a man who was wounded three times in Vietnam. I really think the Republicans should just hang their heads in shame. Max Cleland, John McCain, and John Kerry. All three served in Vietnam. All three injured. All three performed heroic acts under the line of fire. All three came under the vicious attacks of hard core right wing groups. All three had their names dragged through the mud by liars. All three are better men than George W. Bush could ever hope to be.
