1. Of all the bands/artists in your cd/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?:

The Beatles by far. I own about 60 Beatles related cd's, ranging from their core albums, to their solo work, to cover cd's like "Country Stars..." and "Latin Stars..." sing the Beatles.

2. What was the last song you listened to (voluntarily)?:
"American Idiot" by Green Day

3. What's on your record player right now?:
"American Idiot" by Green Day. GREAT album.

4. What song would you say sums you up...:
"American Idiot" by Green Day. ;-) No, probably "This Land is Your Land" by Woody Guthrie for the political side, and "All You Need is Love" for the everyday side.

5. What's your favorite local band?:
"The Frobots." They're one of the only bands that doesn't make me wanna plug off my ears. But they're not local, they're intergalactic.

6. What was the last show you attended?:
"The Frobots" show a couple Fridays ago. They rocked it.

7. What was the greatest show you've ever been to?:
Seeing "Rage Against the Machine" at Coachella, or seeing "Metallica" at Starplex.

8. What's the shittiest band you've ever seen in concert?:
Too many shitty local bands to name.

9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of?:
I don't really care for Keith Richards all that much. Mick's alright I spose. I *like* the music of Aerosmith, but I can't really stand the band all that much.

10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been?:
Played trombone for 12 years in all kinds of different bands.

11. What show are you looking forward to?:
:-( no musical shows on my radar. The Frobots may be playing up here sometime this summer, so that'd be my pick.

12. What is your favorite band shirt?:
I have a shirt of the "Revolver" album cover. It's neato.

13. What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
Adam Yauch and Adam Horovitz from the Beastie Boys, or Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave.

14. What musician would you like to hump for a day?:
Toby Keith

15. Metal question-Jeans and Leather vs. Cracker Jack clothes?:
Jeans and leather, but only if the jeans extend to sleeveless vests as well.

16. Sabbath or solo Ozzy?:
God, this question is almost as LAME as solo Ozzy. "Black Sabbath" is ungodly good.

17. Commodores or solo Lionel Ritchie?:
solo Lionel Ritchie. It's 80's-tastic. Can't be that curly haircut.

18. Blackjack or solo Michael Bolton?:
solo Bolton fo shizzie. The mullet fuelled the man.

19. Doesn't Primus suck?:
I'm not the biggest Primus fan, but I must say that Les Claypool is a genius.

22. What was the greatest decade for music?:
ask me 5 years ago, and I would have said the 60's. The 70's were pretty damn amazing as well. I can't really think of many 80's bands that I listen to on a regular basis, besides the Beastie Boys. The 90's were pretty damn good as well. There is no greatest decade, but I would say the 80's ranked last.

23. How many music-related videos/dvds do you own?:
I'd say at least 15. Maybe more.

24. Do you like Journey?:
His voice was the gold standard for that music. I don't think of many voices that stick out like his does. I was actually going to do a pop culture questions based on who has the better rock voice, Chris Cornell or Steve Perry. Cornell wins.

25. Don't try to pretend you don't!:
I didn't. They sold their soul to satan. What else would explain those chord progressions.

26. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?:
The Star Wars soundtracks. You know you're nerdy when you can recite lines to the soundtrack. The Boogie Nights and Goodfellas soundtracks are also top notch.

27. What was your last musical "phase" before you wisened up?:
Metal phase. UGH! Metallica is still a favorite of mine, but I can't believe there was ever a time when I listened to Megadeth, Pantera, Slayer, and Limp Bizkit.

28. What's the crappiest CD/record/etc you've ever bought?:
Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction." Not just crap, but cheesy crap.

29. Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?:

cd's. The only people who should still buy vinyl are dj's.

30. All totaled, how much do you spend on music a month?:
Not much anymore. I buy a cd once every 2 months, if that.
