So the Discovery Channel just concluded their list of the "Greatest Americans."

And motherfucking RONALD REAGAN was number friggin ONE! NUMBER ONE!!!! >:-(

That's horrible. To place Reagan above...ummm. Martin Luther King jr, FDR, ...UGH...ABRAHAM LINCOLN.

I mean, he wasn't even our greatest President. And this goes beyond politics. FDR presided over a country at Depression AND through the greatest military conflict this world has ever seen. Lincoln kept the Union together. Thomas Jefferson helped pen the damn Constitution of the United States. I'd even put LBJ above Reagan, considering LBJ was the only president I can think of who declared a war on poverty.

And that's not to even mention, my number one pick, Martin Luther King Jr, who faced an almost Hell on earth existence to try bring freedom to all people. He's our greatest citizen.

But to add salt to the wound, GEORGE W. BUSH was NUMBER SIX. To put this in perspective, the man who's led us into the Iraq War, ranks above FDR (number 10), Thomas Jefferson (number 12), Albert Einstein (number 14), Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, BLAH. What the hell has Bush done?

This list is fundamentally flawed. The Discovery Channel can kiss my ass for making a list like this. I quite honestly think it's irresponsible for them to declare "The Greatest American" based off of a viewer's poll. I mean, even Bill Clinton ranks ahead of Eleanor Roosevelt.
