They've been updating CNN all morning with images of the astronauts fixing the broken tiles on the Space Shuttle. The cynic in me keeps saying that this is all just an act, to show the public that NASA is on top of things, and that there won't be another re-entry disaster like they had last time. It's like when a child doesn't want to try their food, and the parents take a bite of their food to show that everything is ok. It's all just an act to reassure everyone that everything's okay.

Okay, well maybe not. But the "Wag the Dog" fan in me is saying so. I'll have to remember to take my meds.
