I start my new job on August 8th. The University of Texas Gender and Sexuality Center called back today to offer me the position. :-)

I can't wait. The job is an administrative associate job with the Gender and Sexuality Center. In it, I'll be basically an assistant to the Director of the Center, as well as a receptionist, volunteer coordinator, and misc. type of activity doing.

I can't wait. It's been a long time since I've been employed, so it'll be nice to get back into the swing of a daily, productive life.

Having all this time off has been great. I probably should have gotten a job sooner, but I wouldn't have found this wonderful job if I had, so maybe not. Beyond that, I came to the realization that work/tasks are something that we are all biologically expected to do. At least me anyways. I think that we need something to do during our days.

So anyways, I plan on celebrating with some Sushi!!! I can't wait.
