Is it sad that Anna Nicole Smith died, but honestly, I could really care less. I'm getting so sick of our fame obsessed culture. People die. Thousands of soldiers never made it back from Iraq alive. People die from cancer on an hourly basis. Where's their CNN Cover story?

It's easy to be cynical about our culture, but that doesn't mean that it's not sick. That being said, there's still a lot of great art coming out right now. I can't wait for the day when we start celebrating and remembering what's important, instead of focusing on second (third? fourth?) rate actresses with big boobs and bleached blonde hair.

Am I glad she's dead? Of course not. But I could really care less. I plan on (temporarily) boycotting any news service that leads off with this (non) story.
