I wasn't really looking forward to "Spiderman 3." Wasn't looking forward to "Shrek 3." Didn't much like the second "Pirates of the Carribean" movie, so the third one hasn't interested me all that much.

But cars and jets that turn into robots? OH man, this is the summer movie I'm most looking forward to, by a LONG shot. I think it's going to be just flat out fun. You know, I love "Star Wars" because of its mythological roots, and I love LOST because of the philosophical discussions it creates, but I'm ready for a movie where I can shut my brain off and just enjoy watching giant robots beat the crap out of each other. The second clip is the extended trailer. There's a shot where a robot jumps into the air and changes into a jet...that's TIGHT as hell. And for those of you who are curious, the movie is going to use the same voice actor for Optimus Prime that they used in the cartoon. Oh, and they're using the "transform" sound effect that they used in the show. :-)
