I could tell it was going to be a triple digit degree day when I stepped outside my door today and said hello to the big, bright yellow sun trekking across the sky. The entire hazy sky above was yellow. The sidewalk on the way to work reflected yellow. Black asphalt looked yellow. The green grass looked yellow. Even things in the shade were yellow. It's going to be hot today. How hot? Yellow at 8:00 a.m. hot.
