Was a family weekend. Karen and Bill came in and saw them on Friday and Saturday. Anya's mom came up for a Parker fix on Saturday. Anya's dad came up today for lunch.

The good times continue next weekend when we get 3/4 a reunion with Mamala, Katie, and Luke into town for a visit.

The good times continue the following weekend with a quick trip to Dallas, Denton, and Lewisville for a weekend of friends and family.

...and the good times conclude with a trip to Houston at the end of the month to see one of the first shows of "Data vs Data," the greatest band on the planet.

----

Parker is smiling socially now and I never get tired of seeing it. It's only getting better here, folks. Can't wait for her and SBJ to meet.

I hear of a possible trip to Florida in late summer?!? Let's make this happen, people.

Anya's both loving and hating being a stay at home mother/wife. She loves being with Parker during the day.

...and she gets tired of being with Parker all day. We need to get Parker to take a bottle or onto solids (a few months away still) so that Anya can better resume her Yoga and friend "hang out opportunities."

Anya's really doing a great job and we seem to be a good team.

----

Another good weekend for Barack. Swept Nebraska, Washington, Louisiana, Maine, the Virgin Islands, and Nebraska. The man is winning on all coasts and a lot of the in-between states. He's won 20 or 31 contests and appears poised to win even more this week and beyond. I'm excited and pumped.

I saw the "60 Minutes" interview tonight. I thought both interviews were pretty standard stuff if you follow the campaigns. Didn't reveal a whole heckuva lot.

But I have to say that Katie Couric is a HORRIBLE interviewer. "How do you do it from a physical stamina standpoint? Do you pop a lot of vitamins?" *groan* I don't think I heard one question that didn't involve Barack's name. That has to suck for Hillary. Even when it's all about Hillary, it's all about Barack.

Anya is feeling conflicted about voting for Barack. In her words, "I almost feel sorry for her." She thinks it'd be degrading to vote for Hillary for the sole reason that she's a woman, but feels conflicted that she is the first woman candidate that actually has a shot at winning.

As Mamala said earlier, I feel bad that the first woman with a good shot at winning is someone who I don't think I could vote for.

It just seems like Clinton is on the wrong side of history. I'd view her getting the nomination as a bit of a "jumping the shark" moment. It'd feel like a great show that just had added Ted McGinley to the cast.

It's a weird election year, folks.

- Matthew
