a short one:
The Beatles' "Oh Darling" is one helluva great song. What's great about it is that they took what would be a normal blues song and Beatlefied it with the background vocals and instrumentation. While the Rolling Stones tried to sound like your standard blues band, they really didn't do much to put their stamp on the genre. But I think the Beatles accomplished this in "Oh Darling." And that McCartney vocal is killer. His vocal abilities are really off the charts when you take into account how differently many of his songs sound from one another.
