The Nashville Business Journal published a nice feature about my husband's company today.

Worked damn near around the clock this week. (The husband, when my alarm sounded Thursday morning: "Hey, there's a woman in my bed!" Yeah, there's been a dearth of that lately.)

Working flat through the weekend. Have choco-hazelnut spread, tangerine JellyBellies, and other stimulants at hand.

Richard Shindell's "A Summer Wind, A Cotton Dress": I'm blown away anew by how well-crafted that song is.

BPAL's "Embalming Fluid" is actually a great summer fragrance. [ETA: And, ironically, not much staying power. This may be the ideal scent to wear on days I have an evening rehearsal.]
