I ended up taking all of yesterday off -- after lunch, I stretched out on the sofa to nap (the dog doing the same on the living room floor), and there went the afternoon.

In the evening, the BYM and I stopped by The Arts Company - I particularly liked Marek Bohemus's still lifes - and then to the TAG, opening for a group show (Bryce being one of the artists). Then to Koto for a glass of plum wine and a "Hook" roll (a spicy salmon-scallion tartare).

This morning was church and then brunch at Jackson's:

G: I swear the cat is channelling Nathan Bedford Forrest. This cat is all about rampaging and pillaging.
B: Shouldn't you call the cat "Sherman" instead?
G: Sherman was methodical. This cat is not.
