* Tax returns all signed, sealed, and mailed on time.

* Hit a couple high Gs tonight. (It's been a while.)

* Palestrina, mmm.

* Went out for drinks afterwards. Good company, attentive waiter, and my coffee was comped.

* Plus, it was good coffee.

* Productive meetings.

* Finding my cell-phone charger. (It'd gotten buried within one of the many heaps in my study.)

* The itch to work on poems and lettering. (This seesawing between "too busy" and "too fried" is frustrating, but it feels good to want to work on things besides slides and spreadsheets.)

* Fielding two unsolicited job invitations. (I'm not looking to change careers, but I am flattered.)

* Fleece and flannel. Mmmm, bed.
