This morning's amusement: imagining the sheer glee on the headline-writer's face upon being assigned this story. (The subject line = the headline that appeared on page C7 of this morning's print edition of the NYT.)
(For those of you at sea: the title's adapted from one of Shakespeare's more memorable stage directions, from A Winter's Tale. And I only just realized it's punning on "Chase," too! *facepalm*)
In other news about the news, my favorite line from the news about Mars may be this one: "It's a 30-watt light bulb giving us a laser show on Mars," said Victoria Hipkin of the Canadian Space Agency (about one of the instruments being used to analyze the particles in the Martian sky).
