The Beautiful Young Man (seeing water spattered all over the kitchen floor): Holy shit, what happened?
Me: I did the dishes.
The BYM: No, I mean, that's carnage there!
Me: Yeah. I did the dishes.
The BYM (incredulous): Doing the dishes did that?
Me: I had fun doing the dishes.
The BYM: If you ever murder someone, there's gonna be evidence everywhere.
Me: Yes, but I'll have fun doing it.
The BYM: But you'll end up in jail!
Me: If I ever murder someone, you're the most likely victim,
so you'll be past caring.
The BYM: I'd fight back!
Me: *maniacal grin*
The BYM: *eyes widen, retreats to basement*
Me (cheerfully calling out after him): Love you and adore you! *prepares to scrub bathtub*
