[Subject lyric from Bowie's "Changes"]
Seen in the guestbook of the Frist Center's Warhol exhibit:
My favorite parts of the exhibit were the displays of Warhol's early illustration work and the black-curtained room where Merce Cunningham's choreography of "Silver Clouds" was being shown. The room contained silver cloud-shaped balloons floating about, and it was fun to pick up the ones that had glided to rest on the floor and send them drifting around the room again. (What can I say -- any chance to enjoy delusions of being a goddess... [grin]) Also a pleasure: asking to see the latest commemorative stamps at the post office, and finding that the current offerings include the third set of the American Scientists series a pane celebrating Pioneers of American Design and a pane on Going Green.
