Some good posts recently on the OWW ML. Nothing new, really, but I guess just the right thing at the right time--just what I need for Justice. And why the opening doesn’t work. Nothing is at stake. There’s conflict--literally--but that matters to the character (and reader) is at stake. Argh!

I had my focus chat on the Elpotson Wednesday. Neat. I think I know what’s wrong with it--I made it too realistic--shallow characters with shallow problems. Realistic but--boring... It all sounds so simple once you know where the problem sits!
