Two weeks left till I leave for VP. I’m so excited. I want it to give me new writing energy, to push me out of this apathy that makes me dread writing more than enjoy it. I don’t know how it can, ‘cos I don’t know what’s causing it, but still.

I got going on chapter three re-write. It’s not bad, but not great either. I had to do some thinking but I think I managed to bring up the bridging conflict. Not easy, given the real one is unknown to the protagonists till some one third of the book.

Sent Moon Arising to Ideo. Wonder what they’ll make out of it. I asked Jan to read it the other night and he did, and then stared at me with this blank expression.... Sorry, I have no clue what this is about. Oh well.
