2002-12-19 10:20 PM Recovering from Tolkien Just a quick follow-up entry to let you know I'm doing more than just reading reviews of "The Two Towers" and critiquing it here on my journal. Yeah, sure, I did that MOST of the day, but I was sorta productive otherwise...
I finished up all my edits to two older stories, "Gunning for the Buddha" and "Black Angels" and sent them out to possible publishers, and I did about 1k on my collab with Tim Pratt, which is turning out to be a lot of fun (we're doing it round-robin style: he writes a scene and ends it on a sort of cliffhanger, then I pick up after that and write a scene, ending on a cliffhanger, etc.). And one of these days I'll get back to that SF novel. Probably tomorrow, if I have some time. Got to donate blood in the morning, then do some last-minute xmas shopping. Later! Stories out to Publishers: 19 Today's Words: 1,000 Novel Words: 143,500 Today's Quote: An orange horizon opened up outside, on her right, its mindless fire filling the sky as they raced south. But before she could inhale for a scream, someone else beat her to it. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
