2003-02-04 8:03 AM A quick one. Just a quick note to log my latest writing attempts (it's been a while, it seems like, thanks to the marathon novel-revising of last week). I'm doing a couple different things, trying to finish up two collaborations and get back on track with the Blackbeard novel, but I got distracted by baseball.
I've had this idea for almost 2 1/2 years, and it's a historical fantasy baseball idea. I'm writing it as a story that may become a novel later, depending on how the story comes out. I spent a good chunk of yesterday reading baseball stories and getting inspired, and mapped out most of my story afterwards. And then I got up this morning and did a little surfing and then actually got some writing done on it! Now I'm off to work -- day one of the new job. Wish me luck! Later.
