...when you spend too much time surfing around to different websites, making comments in the Comments sections or in newsgroups or discussion boards, and then deleting them without ever posting.

...when you finally get around to renaming your journal with a suitable name after way too much time thinking about it.

...when you finally get word about your story running in Asimov's and then realizing it won't be for another six months (but hell, I ain't really complaining).

...when you keep cringing every time you think about teaching your way-cool "Writing SF" class for 4th-8th graders that starts next week (instead of being excited about it) because you haven't had the time or energy to sit your ass down and plan out the class activities yet.

...when you feel that funny feeling in your gut from too much caffeine on too little sleep.

...when you FIVE MILLION different things going on, all of them pretty damn interesting and deserving of your time, but NO TIME to do anything about them!!!

Other than that, today's been pretty good.
