Just got word late this afternoon that my pre-Civil-War, dark-fantasy detective tale "The Disillusionist" was accepted at the alternate history web magazine Would That It Were!!!

Since this story had already been accepted elsewhere, only to have that magazine go on permanent hiatus, it's especially nice to see this tale -- a favorite of mine -- sell to a nifty site like WTIW.

And to celebrate, I'm sending out 4 different story submissions tomorrow morning. The life of a fiction writer, it is endlessly exciting.
