Almost there!!!
Wow -- at almost 35,000 words and 60 pages on the nose, Intracities has been completely laid out and set up as a PDF! Yahoo!
I actually ended up using MS Word 2002 and making a PDF of the Word doc. Once I have the final edits and proof corrections from my authors, I'm going to create a final PDF, and then use Acrobat to move pages around for the printing order, and I'll be set. I hope...
Sorry to waste the time of you kind folks who gave me PageMaker advice. I just wasn't patient enough to work with it.
Cool cool news is that the one and only Frank Wu is doing the cover! I've seen his drafts of the cover as he does one version to the next -- something I love seeing, as I did when Janet created my website "cover page" for me -- and his cover is FANTASTIC! I'd share it with you, but sorry, gotta wait for the book to come out. Have a great weekend!
