Man, not only did I sell a novel today, but I got emails from John Kerry, Al Gore, and Howard Freakin' Dean! Did someone tell them about my good fortune?

Um.

Well, actually, they wanted me to do some work for the Kerry campaign. Knock on doors and call people out of the blue. But they emailed ME! They really like me!

Yes, it's been one of THOSE kind of days...

I'm still looking into copyrights and the Creative Commons information so I don't lose any rights to this book when I'm done with it. And I'm hooked now -- I can't stop working on it. It's been a lot of fun so far.

Ask me how excited I am about it in a couple weeks, once work gets crazy again...

And now it's time to head on out for a celebratory supper -- I'm thinking either the Hibernian or Tir Na Nog in downtown Raleigh. I've got a hankering for some fresh Guinness and salty fish-n-chips with m'lady. Later!
