Just taking a quick break in between cleaning the house and washing the dog to share the latest news about the upcoming baby -- we have his room more or less done! Elizabeth and I got the urge to get things in order at last, now that we had a free weekend, so we took all the gift certificates and stuff we wanted to return from various showers, and got some more stuff! It's all about the stuff, it seems, when it comes to the baby. :)

Thanks to all the "free money" from the gift certificates and returns, we were able to buy a glider and ottoman, a very cool framed photo and rug from Pottery Barn Kids (holy cow, their stuff is way overpriced!), some sheets and other odds and ends, all for the grand total of 27 bucks. Sweet.

So, once we made it back home, we had to assemble and rearrange, and here's the final outcome:


The "Read" poster was a great deal, half-price, and we're probably the most happy about finding that little treasure. We still have a little credit with Tar-jay, so we're hoping to get a small bookcase to put there for Drew's reading materials. We're quite pleased.
