Hello all -- greetings from sunny, cool, breezy, GREEN Iowa! Just wanted to say hello and let folks know that in a moment of weakness here at my sisters lovely house, surrounded by family, I managed to sneak away for a moment to check email. I know, I'm weak!

But I'm glad I did, because one of my emails was from John Helfers at Tekno Books, and he wants to buy my romance novel, Heart's Revenge!

I'm not sure when the book will come out, though I'm guessing sometime next year (hopefullly), and it will be part of the Five Star Expressions line. I know lots of other authors who've published books through Five Star (hi Jim, Kathy, Michael, Julie, and everyone else!) and they're beautiful books, very nicely assembled and quite slick.

I'm just happy that I got the news here so I could share it with my family right away, and start celebrating! I owe Elizabeth big-time for daring me to try and write a romance, and I owe my mom as well for all her romance-novel insight (and for lending us some Nora Roberts books from her library!). Thanks!!!

And now I'm already dying to know who's going to do the cover... Surely the artist will include Blackbeard's headless ghost on there, right?

And I'm also thinking about sequel ideas...
