Elizabeth and Drew are off to the beach again, and since either her mom or sister watches Drew for us (and they're at the beach as well), Elizabeth and Drew went along with 'em. Which leaves me all alone again. Woe.

The plan is like last time -- get all my work done at the day job and rack up four 10-hour days so I can rush off to the beach one last time on Thursday. I miss 'em both already.

At least I'm getting some writing done, here and there (it's weird having the whole house to myself!). Finished a rough, rough draft of the third chapter of the new novel, and my goal is to get a good chunk of chapter 4 done before I leave town (after I fix up those 1st 3 chapters to share with a couple first-readers, and anyone else who might be interested...).
