Still fine-tuning the novel before sending it back to my editor. Part of me is really tired of sitting at the computer, while the other part of me wants to make sure I don't miss anything and also make sure I don't miss any opportunities to punch up my male hero (not punch OUT, though in my previous draft he WAS a bit of a wuss).

I also spent some precious time this morning finishing up American Gods by Neil Gaiman, and damn if that isn't a fine book. The kind of urban/contemporary fantasy mixed with wonderful history/alternate history that tons of writers (like me) would've loved to have written. With coin tricks. And Loki. And road trips.

Can't wait to read the sequel novella, as well as the novel about Mr. Nancy, coming to me soon...

And can I just say how quiet and sort of sad our house is when Elizabeth and Drew are away? They went off to give me time to write and revise, because they are sweet and understanding of my writing. Luckily they'll be home soon!
