Thanks to the brilliant minds of my mom and her pal Jolene, I've got a reading set up in my home town of Dyersville, Iowa! It's two days before my little sis gets married, so it should be a lot of fun.

Now all I have to do is explain the whole Mike versus Julia thing...



I remember as a kid going to that library (or, well, the one that this one replaced, but who's keeping score??) and always wanting to be the writer sitting up there, reading from his books and explaining his ideas and inspiration. Now I get that chance! Thanks, Ma!
