I had to go out and buy some single malt tonight. Some McClelland's. And man, is it good. I'm sipping it right now.

Why's that? Well, it's not every day you sell a novel for the second time!

Got an email from an editor late this afternoon that said "I'm pleased to let you know that we would like to purchase your novel The Wannoshay Cycle for our Five Star SF/Fantasy line."

Astute readers may remember the first time I sold it. Well, almost sold it -- I asked the editor at Five Star for a reprieve to see if I could sell it to those other New York (bigger) publishers, and he was completely okay with that. I had some other nibbles from other New York publishers since then, but none of them bit, and I really wanted to see this novel in print, so I sent it back to Five Star after it had made the rounds. And this time it took, and I'm taking it!

So Father Joshua, Ally Trang, Skin, Shontera, and the rest of the gang from the midwest -- including my aliens -- are going to see print! Sweet!

As soon as I find out when the book is coming out, I'll be sure and let ya know. Now, back to that Scotch-sipping... Later!
