This morning I was looking at the web site for the Raleigh Little Theatre to see what's playing (Elizabeth and I have a date coming up!), and I saw something that had Lizzie and me both giggling all morning. I'm still smiling, just thinking about it. And I'm tempted to actually try out for it!

Unfortunately I can't really sing or dance, so that could be a problem... Just the act of going to the audition would be fun. I'd have to bring along a song to sing -- I'm thinking of "Just a Gigolo." :)

It makes me wonder how competitive these auditions actually are. And does size really matter...?

Actually, you should click the link and read the description. I especially dig this part: "Do they actually go 'Full Monty'? Well, God-willing, and with a nimble light-board operator, the audience will never actually be sure!"

I loved, loved the movie, and the fact that this production moves it from England to America and makes all the guys blue-collar workers laid off from the factory is very intriguing to me. I may have to go practice my moves now... Later!
