The good news is that I've been working on writing for the past few hours -- that's fiction writing, by the way, not technical writing or bill writing or any other sort of writing. Just working on my own fiction, coming up with new words and new approaches to my fiction.

The bad news is that I'm now officially working on three novels at the same time.

It's not as bad as it sounds -- the good news is that I've figured out ways to make my baseball novel, the Sixteen Miles novel, and the young-adult fantasy all WORK. The bad news is that I've got to be patient and make it happen and be okay with not doing it all at once!
