Just got a chance to read over the last of my copy-edits for The Wannoshay Cycle, and emailed my very few comments back to the Five Star editing crew. Yes, the due date was today. I had a few minutes to spare, okay?

No worries, though -- they did a kick-ass job. Who knew I was so attached to using hyphens the wrong way? Or how often I could mangle the use of "further"?

Now I know.

I also know that this novel is a really good story, one that hooked me in again, after all this time. Great characters, nice pacing, and some weird crash-landed aliens. What more could you ask for?

We just have to wait about half a year longer to see it in print (okay, I'll probably get to see it a wee bit sooner than January '08, but you get my drift).

And after talking to my cover artist this week, I'm positive the art for the cover is going to rock.

And hey -- I'm taking most of the weekend off! My first day off since, um, the 13th, I believe. Yeah, that's how things have been going for me at the ol' day job. But it's getting under control -- knock on wood! Later...
