Cool news -- you can now buy a copy of the anthology Heroes in Training now! Here's the cover:



Edited by Jim C. Hines, and featuring stories by Esther Friesner, Peter David, Julie Czerenda, Vera Nazarian, Sherwood Smith, and more, the book contains stories about heroes before they got big -- sort of like a bunch of "origin" stories. Sounds like a lot of fun, and I can't wait to get a copy of the book myself. See the complete table of contents here.

Oh, and my story "Drinker" is in the anthology as well -- this story is a prequel to my Wannoshay novel (which still doesn't have an Amazon.com page, I guess because it doesn't have an ISBN yet!). My story is one of the few SF stories in the book, by the way. Hope you check it out!
