Ok, I'm not quite neurotic enough to believe I'm to blame for everything that is wrong. But I guess you can blame me if it makes you feel better. I guess somebody has to be responsible for everything. And somebody else has to know who that somebody is. I suspect that causes large enough to explain things such as the whole hurricane preparedness - response tragedy are large enough that they involve some of the very fabric of our culture. And I suspect that our hurry to point the finger at some particular person will only make it harder to get to the real depths of the problems.
