2006-01-17 1:26 PM "I guess the Lord forgot about the football team." This was a quote from the Colts kicker after they lost their playoff game to the Steelers on Sunday.
I guess this is one of the biggest problems with religion, we all want to imagine God is on our side even when we know that it would be at the expense of someone else. I can understand how the Colts were deflated. With the coaches son having died of an apparent suicide just weeks before the game, I imagine they desperately wanted their to be some way to help their coach, and wanted to believe God would help them.
