Mr. Cloudy's Shelter

Odd thing, it's sunny and it's cloudy outside. I feel happy today.

Won't last long - I promise to post something serious and deep tomorrow. ;^)

People dying of starvation, but I still feel happy in this moment.

People being physically abused by their spouses, but I still feel happy in this moment.

People being discounted because of their race, but I still feel happy in this moment.

People experiencing great pain physically and/or emotionally, but I still feel happy in this moment.

People feeling all alone, but I still feel happy in this moment.

Somehow that seems wrong. But it's the truth. Maybe if I were happy more often I'd actually have the energy to help some of these people more often. But somehow it seems like a loss of solidarity with the suffering.
