2008-10-07 7:02 PM Loneliness Loneliness is the pain that reminds us we are all interconnected. But its horrific irony is that it threatens to isolate us all the more.
Who wants to give away their loneliness, their anxiety, their depression, their sadness? Did anyone wake up today hoping someone would drop some anxiety and despair on them? I say we would all be lucky were this the case - were loneliness and it's friends all to become quite sociable. Not to change - no precisely the opposite - to change our socialization, so no one feels they must hold the loneliness in and receive the double injury of loneliness and isolation. So, my friend, I'm lonely. I'm depressed. I'm anxious. I'm sad. And there aren't any "good" reasons. Nothing to pretty them up with. Just naked feelings. Please feel free to help yourself. And I'm glad you know it - whether you are or not. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
