We're trying to book the ceremony and reception sites. (See below) The photographer we want (who Scott's Mom works for) said he can come out the weekend of July 28, 2002. I have to wait until Monday to find out if the ceremony site is available that day. The reception site is available, and I meet with the coordinator next Tuesday.

I finally talked to my Dad and told him about the pending nuptials. I'm always nervous about calling him because we're not close at all, and in the past I had only called when I needed money. Our conversation was nice, and this time I'm not asking for money. I'm HUGELY relieved that that's over with!

I'm really glad that Jenn (my roommate) is so excited about the wedding. It's nice to have someone as excited as I am so close at hand. I feel extremely girly pouring over magazine after magazine, but Jenn is equally eager to delve into this wedding madness as well. Yay...my partner in bridal chaos!

We are getting married at Stauffer Chapel @ Pepperdine University. It sits on a hill overlooking the ocean in Malibu. Here's some pics.

The reception will take place at a place called Dukes, a few miles down the road on PCH. We both want our wedding to be close to the ocean, and you don't get much closer than Dukes. Check it out! (I'll hopefully have better pics when I go on Tuesday).
