We have started looking for a new car. Nothing is wrong with my car and believe it or not, Scott's car has been working great for quite some time now. ::knocks on wood:: We're just finding that with the ever increasing load of baby stuff I tend to carry with me all the time, a bigger car would be better. We started looking at small to mid-sized SUVs and mini-vans. We already test drove a Hyundai Santa Fe, which was nice. However, it was still too small. I would still only be able to comfortable fit two extra passengers along with myself and the baby. I really want to be able to fit at least 3 people. We also test drove a new Nissan Quest. It's soooo cool! It was such a nice drive, and roomy as heck, without feeling huge. The best thing about it is the fold-away seats and rear bench. I think this is the route we want to go, but it's not cheap. We need to really figure out what kind of down payment we can come up with. We looked into leasing, but the payments were pretty high, and coupled with insurance, it wouldn't be worth it unless we were buying. At any rate, no decisions have to be made yet. We still need some money for our anniversary trip next month, so nothing will be decided just yet. The Quest is so cool though...it felt kind of like being in a jet...futuristic.
