So, I went to pick up my mom at the beauty shop. She had just had her hair dyed, cut, styled, and also had a manicure and a pedicure. Ah, what pamperage! She says I can just go in and get my nails done too...it's cheap. Hrm. Well, why the hell not! It's just funny...I'm not one to do this on a regular basis. Even now, as I type, I am gingerly stroking the keys so as not to mess up my nice little french manicure. What is it about getting nails done that changes the way you do things? I find that I hold things in a more stylish fashion, as if everything I touch is being showcased by some inner spokesmodel. "And over here are the diapers...aren't they lovely!" Getting my nails done makes me want to point at things more too. Hee. I guess it's nice to feel a little more glamourous for a change. It's funny what a little stripe of white at the tips of my nails and some glossy clearcoat can do for my ego.
