2010-02-08 10:48 AM Monday Is The New Saturday At least, that's how it's working out for me lately. It's weird, it's wacky, and I like Monday dressed up in Saturday's clothes a lot better then it used to dress. Heh.
**** To date, I have completed 107 articles on SSDI in the last four weeks. That's approximately 70,000 words in one month. The client had an urgent need for five extra last night, and was very happy when I was able to pull those off. Although the pay rate isn't top dollar, I did receive a bonus and I'm happy about that. What made me even happier was a sincere thank-you from the client. It's the little things in this business. He wants fifty more. Work is work, and although it does task my tiny brain cells, imma gonna do what I gotta do. I'm a wordslinger. Dat's how I roll. **** So, technically this is my day off, although there's a lot of little things I really need to take care of. I've been accused of being a workaholic, but that may be a bit harsh. Heh. **** If you haven't seen this, you really should go read if you are at all interested in health care reform. It is a brilliant piece of work by our Fearless Leader and he did a phenomenal job of debunking some of the most persistent and stoopid health care reform myths. **** I did manage to catch most of the Super Bowl last night. It was a great game, and I offer my congrats to the Saints. Awesome job, and it's nice to see New Orleans get back some of their former glory. I bet it's a partying paradise there in Louisiana, heh. My favorite SB commercial was this one: Man, that cracks me up. *gigglesnort* **** Kk. I'm sure I can find some trouble around here if I look hard enough.
